New brakes bits fitted, clutch adjusted and engine started! It drove forward under it's own steam and stopped without using the handbrake Now I just have to drill the rear inner wings so I can run the cables for the rear light - check the gearbox oil level now it has had time to settle and then check all the electrics for the MOT

Had Andyroo82 over today and we made up a new loom for the rear lights so they now work and fitted all the remaining bits - then we took it for a test drive - Andy tried to video but the results were more amusing than impressive - if you wonder why there is video of his hand it's because I was going round a corner

Spent most of this afternoon trying to sort out my sticky throttle which turned out to be the cable - all was sorted using such wonderours tools as a coat hanger in a drill etc I need to finish the removable rear valance properly tomorrow or the bug will be going to Plymouth with a naked bum!
