guess ill answer this! You need a joiner not a carpenter, a carpenter will just gripfill it all together! but a joiner will cost you a f**ing fortune! soooo.... Do you want the pre veneered oak boards? i mite be able to get them for you? and you need to get some oak iron on edgings ill find out where you can get them from cheap. if thats what you want, because in the pictures they are using hardwood edgings and thats a fair whack more and are not worth it. I would do it for you but obviously i have no spare time at the mo at all untill i get my car done, but i can get you the wood to make the framework and your screws, did you get any dimensions from those pictures? just get as much info as you can, like thickness of boards, heights widths depths etc. I just phoned dan and hes gona see if he can cut the boards at his work, because if you are using pre-veneered boards ideally they need to be cut on a scribe saw, i could do it at work but the veneer mite split. as weve jus gota normal table saw. plus that small shelf nearest to the door looks like it is routered in so there is no need to use screws but it is more work and complications. if you dont mind screws showing then i would just go down that route if need be you can get caps for them. let us no ill help you as much as i can.

Haha no worries, its fairly simple just need to make a frame were the seat is goin then just work off it. but yeah once you no what wood you want and the sizes then we can get to work woo!! do you want oak yeah cos ill find out what sizes the pre veneered stuff comes in. or you can do it in Birch ply which i think is cheaper and looks nice! have a look round at some more units and stuff you like. Oh and you can also buy units which you can build yourself (flat pack stuff) could be cheaper and easier this place is in torquay ... www.campervanrestoration.co.uk/portfolio.php?id=4

nic thats mike1973's repro devon style interior is it not?
If you want I have a load of photos and diagrams with measurements for most of the devon units that a guy on the ssvc site put together.
If you would like a copy i'll put it all up my website and give you some links to it?
