Are there more than one type of decklid mount? No matter how I adjust my decklid it won't sit at the correct height - I can move the top in and out and I can move it down more but it won't move any further up as it is at the limit of it's adjustment and still a centimetre or so out. As the car is a 64 it should have the one year only decklid which is a semi-w with a t-handle but the slightly larger number plate light where as mine has a popes nose so perhaps the decklid is at fault?
Any ideas anyone?

Maybe it is a repro panel and not original? Try and find an original or modify the mounts so they will give more adjustment where you need it.

I'm pretty sure the decklid is OG and it seems that the mounting holes in the hinges have the right offset from the edge as measured against another semi-w that fits. As for modifying the mounts the way I need to modify them would take out loads of "structural metal" and the bolts would be a nightmare to do up. I've tried thick washers in various locations but can only seem to make the problems worse

if your talking about moving the lid up to close the gap between the body and the top of the decklid, some are abit off, i jst made a couple of ali packers when i did my previous car and placed them between the brackets and the hindge. Obviously drilled holes in them and that, worked fine.
